Life saving appliances in Cyprus

Life saving appliances cover equipment intended for safety at sea and near water, such as lifejackets, lifebuoys, immersion suits, rescue rings, throw lines and related accessories. Buyers should compare certification and standards, size and buoyancy ratings, intended use for adults or children, and suitability for commercial, fishing or recreational vessels. Also consider inspection intervals, servicing requirements, storage conditions and the availability of replacement parts. Ask suppliers to explain what documentation accompanies the product and whether servicing or revalidation is offered, since safety equipment often needs periodic checks to remain fit for purpose.
