Intumescent Fire Protection in Limassol

Intumescent fire protection uses coatings, seals, boards and wraps that expand when heated, forming a barrier that slows the spread of fire and protects structural elements. It is commonly specified for steelwork, cable penetrations, doors, ducts and joints in buildings. When requesting work, ask which products and systems are proposed, whether they carry appropriate test certification for the intended use, and how surface preparation and drying times affect the programme. Also compare inspection and maintenance arrangements, documentation provided on completion, and how the installer coordinates with other trades on site.
